Arc@theCourts Pickleball Tournament

The Arc of North Central Virginia is excited to announce our inaugural Arc@theCourts Pickleball Tournament, bringing community members together for a fun and friendly competition in support of our mission.  We will host a pre-event skills clinic from 4:00 – 4:45PM.  Players, spectators, and volunteers are welcome to join us for a day of great matches, connection, and impact.

EVENT OVERVIEW

We’re excited to host our first pickleball tournament! You can expect an evening full of friendly competition and great fun. At this time, we’re planning for two levels of mixed doubles play. The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with a championship game at the end for each division. Winners in each division will receive a pickleball-themed, expertly curated trophy! This will not be a DUPR reported event.

As this is our first tournament, we’re staying flexible and may make adjustments based on registration numbers.

• What divisions are available?
  Mixed Doubles
• Will players be grouped by DUPR rating?
  Teams will be grouped by skill level using DUPR ratings whenever possible to ensure fair and competitive play. Players without a DUPR rating are still welcome to participate and may be placed based on self-rating.
• Will there be prizes?
  Yes! Trophies will be awarded to top 3 finishers. Additional raffle prizes and giveaways may also be available throughout the event.
• Is this tournament for charity?
  Yes! This tournament is a fundraiser benefiting The Arc of North Central Virginia. Proceeds from the event help support programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout our service area.
• Do I need my own paddle?
  Players are encouraged to bring their own paddles. Tournament balls will be provided.
• How do I complete my registration?
  Your registration is considered complete once payment has been received. Be sure to submit both your registration form and tournament fee before the registration deadline.
• Can spectators attend?
  Yes! Friends, family members, and community supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on players throughout the tournament.
• Will there be refreshments?
  Food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the tournament.
